The 2026 Wheellator Cruzator Transforms Seamlessly from Walker to Wheelchair

Pictured Below: The footrest plates flip up for easier seating when the Wheellator Cruzator is used as a wheelchair. Three prefabricated holes allow you to adjust the footplate height from the ground, so you can customize the fit for maximum comfort.

Physical Therapy / Downhill Support Mode
Pictured Above: The rear controller offers three levels of resistance (1 = most, 2 = medium, 3 = least).
On flat surfaces, this mode serves as an effective physical therapy tool to help maintain muscle strength and build endurance. Under the guidance of a doctor or physical therapist, it can also support recovery after surgery or injury.
This feature is especially important when going downhill. The short video below shows why.
Video Demonstration: The 4-second clip illustrates the risks of using a regular walker on a downhill slope. The user requires support from another person to stay balanced while fighting gravity. This increases both difficulty and the risk of a fall.
Assisted Walk, Uphill Support & Caregiver Mode — Standard on the Rear Joystick

This is ideal for climbing hills, maintaining a steady walking pace, or allowing a caregiver to control the chair with less effort.
- The thumb pad provides power assist

Front Joystick Features:

The armrest-mounted joystick is packed with features. A slot in the metal mounting bar (the “slingshot”) lets you slide the joystick closer to or farther from the backrest, so you can find the most comfortable wrist position while driving.
Pictured Below:
This adjustable reach keeps the joystick ergonomically friendly in wheelchair mode. You can keep your arm in a natural, flat position instead of arching your wrist—especially helpful for users with longer arms. Not every device includes this important comfort feature.
Pictured Below: The front joystick features five speed settings, a horn, and a power button on top. When the joystick is turned on, the Wheellator Cruzator locks in place and will not roll backward while you enter or exit.

Visibility and safety go hand in hand. Each comfort-grip handle includes a rear reflector to help increase visibility.

The Wheellator can be locked with the handbrakes or electronically through the joystick. Simply press the handbrakes down (as shown) to securely lock the unit in place—just like a traditional walker.
Pictured Above: A simple twist of the knob located just above the manual brakes on the rear wheels lets you adjust brake sensitivity. Your Wheellator, your way.
Pictured Below: The Wheellator includes an adjustable seatbelt for added security when needed. It can be easily removed or stowed under the seat when not in use.
Adjustable Handles & Articulating Backrest
The 2026 Wheellator Cruzator features an adjustable, articulating backrest for greater versatility and comfort.
When using the Wheellator as a walker and you need to rest, simply orient the back support forward, press the handbrakes down, and take a seat. It’s reassuring to know your walker also serves as a stable, comfortable seat—along with its many other functions.
Pictured Above: The backrest faces forward (with the “Wheellator” logo appearing upside down). This orientation lets you sit comfortably when using the Wheellator as a walker with a seat.
Pictured Below: The backrest is reversed so the concave arc faces rearward. This allows you to sit properly facing forward when the device is used as a wheelchair.
Adjustable Handlebars & Articulating Backrest
Pictured Above: The handlebars are height-adjustable. Simply press the gray button on the lower part of each handlebar and pull up or push down to set your preferred height.
Pictured Below: The articulating backrest is also fully adjustable. Independent of handlebar height, twist the gray knob to raise or lower the backrest—or remove it entirely if preferred.
Smart Storage & Power Management
Pictured Below: The Wheellator Cruzator includes a convenient under-seat basket. It is fully removable and serves more than just storage.
Pictured Above: Open the under-seat basket and you’ll find a dedicated battery pouch on the right side (when facing the basket). The Wheellator Cruzator operates on one battery at a time. A toolkit is also included.
Want extra peace of mind while you’re out and about? You can add a second battery at a substantial discount at the time of purchase.

“When I was asked if I wanted to test and evaluate the Wheelator, I was so excited. I can walk but my problem is that I am not able to walk for long distances. Sometimes I feel suddenly weak and unstable. While I have a folding wheelchair, that doesn’t give me the option to safely walk behind it and use it as support. Then, when I do need to sit down, I have to walk around to the front of the chair. Sure, this is easy for some people, but when I get tired it happens so quickly, and taking even a few steps is a huge chore and very difficult. On the other hand, when I am feeling ambitious, I have a rollator. That too can quickly be a problem. While it does keep me stable and has a hand brake that I use often, I may as well have nothing when I get tired. Once, I had to rest over an hour just to regain enough strength to slowly get back to the car where I was driven home. With the Wheelator, I was surprised at the diversity of what it can do. I love the assisted walking and handbrakes. The controller on the back is so easy to use. When I need to sit, I can flip the backrest and rest until I am ready. When it feels like that might take a while, I can just sit in the other direction and use it as a power wheelchair. And wow, it’s powerful too! The small things like anti-slip lockouts and resistance when walking down a ramp are so nice. My doctor wants me to walk when I can and this Wheelator gives me the confidence to get out more often and do more things. I just wish something like this had been invented several years ago.
