The 2026 Carbon8 Power Wheelchair is equipped with two powerful 150-watt brushless electromagnetic motors.
Brushless motors are less common—and more reliable—than the cheaper brushed motors found in many chairs on the market today. They last longer, offer smoother control, and will not “run away” downhill. You remain in full control of your speed at all times.

The 2026 25 lb Carbon8 Wheelchair is equipped with a full-direction (360°) joystick for precise, intuitive control.
Pictured Above: The 2026 Carbon8 now comes standard with a multi-direction Sensi-Touch joystick. It reaches speeds up to 4 mph. The farther you push the joystick in any direction, the faster the chair travels within its selected speed setting. Five adjustable speed settings give you precise control.
Pictured Below: The 2026 Carbon8 includes a removable LED light that plugs directly into the joystick’s charging port. This convenient safety feature can be turned on or off right from the joystick.
